About the Drop Covers…
A harpsichord with a table stand needs adequate protection when setup, because the boot of the normal moving cover cannot be placed over the harpsichord when it is on the table stand. For this purpose, we also make drop covers. These have a deeper skirt with slightly flared sides to fit over the corners of the table stand, and do not have the normal tail boot, bottom perimeter rope or carry straps.

The drop cover is pictured here over the Oman French Double after Blanchet with the Louis XV-style cabriole leg stand.
