Our 2002 Neapolitan has featured in many recordings beginning with the Turkish Delight album from the Persian Rugs, a side project from members of favorite Australian band Hoodoo Gurus. It’s been used to great effect in different Australian cities by visiting overseas ensembles including Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Concerto Italiano, Gabrieli Consort & Players, and Il Giardino Armonico, and traveled to Thursday Island in November 2006 for the Vast Productions film 4. We frequently put the Neapolitan on top of our Klop Continuo Organ to form an instant claviorgan, and it is often seen and heard in that format with Erin Helyard directing Sydney’s boutique period opera company Pinchgut Opera.
